About Job :

Sikich is seeking a Manager with 10-15 years of Accounting experience. Candidate must have prior experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement preparation.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Execute project oversight and deliverables
  • Work in close coordination with US based team on a daily basis
  • Work towards continual talent development
  • Drive and contribute towards process improvement, tools and training
  • Administer and supervise the daily accounting work with emphasis on quality and timely delivery
  • Supervise & ensure quality standards of accounting transactions by the team
  • Ensure that reports sent to clients are accurate & sent within scheduled timeframes
  • Manage team performance metrics and responsible for team performance
  • Manage project deliverables and client engagements
  • Creation and management of reports, budgets, cash-flow models, and supplemental reports
  • Display excellent leadership skills and manage internal/external expectations
  • Develop training content and deliver technical accounting and finance trainings to team members

Requirements for Successful Candidate :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and MBA in Finance or CA certification
  • Managed team(s) having at least 20-25 team members
  • Prior experience in a Delivery Management role for a US based firm
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks and other US accounting systems
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel and MS Office
  • Organizational skills to manage a team and client engagements
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Possesses a combination of both problem-solving and innovation skills to attend to several technical production challenges
